If you鈥檙e thinking of buying an appliance anytime soon, you might want to circle Memorial Day weekend on your calendar. The state鈥檚 annual runs May 25- 27.

鈥淭he appliances that are eligible for the Energy Star Sales Tax Holiday, the savings from those ranges anywhere from 10 percent to 75 percent, depending on the particular appliance or the product,鈥� Taylor .
The state comptroller projects consumers will avoid paying $3 million in sales tax over the tax holiday weekend.
