I鈥檓 traveling through Pakistan with nine other journalists from various news organizations in the United States. The is sponsoring this trip as part of its three-year program to expose journalists from both countries to each others鈥� newsrooms and foster better understanding between the two countries.

We arrived in Islamabad, Pakistan Wednesday night after a grueling 48 hour trip rife with delays and cancelations. Our welcome was very warm. Some of the first things I noticed were the fabulous buses and trucks. They鈥檙e ornate, individual items. Some advertise businesses, others are entrepreneurial buses, others appear to be mere fanciful embellishments. They are delightful bits of whimsy.
