Ransom Center Acquires Coetzee Archive

at the University of Texas at Austin has of Nobel-prize winning author J. M. Coetzee. Coetzee was born in South Africa, but received a Ph.D. in English, linguistics and Germanic languages from UT in 1969. He taught at the university briefly in 1995 in the. Bastrop Town Hall Meeting

Bastrop County officials are holding a town hall meeting tonight to discuss wildfire recovery efforts. The event, called , will be held from six to eight tonight at the Jerry Fay Wilhelm Center for Performing Arts in Bastrop.
